Why I Started Stay True Functional Health and How It Led to Valinor
A Letter from My Soul to Yours
I wasn’t always the woman you see today—leading, creating, healing. For a long time, I was just trying to survive. In the late ’80s, something was taken from me—something that should never be taken from anyone. It was a trauma that left scars you couldn’t see. Back then, silence was the norm—and that silence became my prison. I carried the shame, buried it deep, and kept moving forward… because that’s what strong women are told to do.
The Beginning
In 1993 and 1996, I became a mother to my two greatest blessings. Motherhood changed everything, but it was brutally hard. I worked three jobs, stretched every paycheck, and relied on quiet help from a food bank. I married young, but after 22 years of struggles, I found myself divorced and starting over. There were sacrifices my children may never know—but they were worth every single one.
The Challenge
In 2007, a head-on collision with my daughter nearly took our lives while three teenagers did not survive. That moment split our lives into “before” and “after.” Trauma left me numb, disconnected, and without dreams—but something in me refused to let that be the end.
The Breakthrough
I clawed my way back through prayer, functional healing, and mindset work. I was blessed to remarry a man whose spirit aligns deeply with mine—his love became a grounding force, bringing balance and peace when I needed it most. Through it all, I discovered the truth: You can heal. You can rewire your thoughts. You can reclaim joy. And not just survive—but soar.
The Impact
Stay True Functional Health became more than a product—it was a pathway home, blending real healing with functional tools, mindset with mission, and science with soul. It remains the heart and the voice, offering connection, encouragement, and a shared journey.
